New precision spraying technology has been awarded two stars at Agromek Stars 2025.

Brøns Maskinforretning ApS is launching AmaXact – a new generation of frequency-controlled, pulsing nozzles (PWFM) from Amazone, developed for precision spraying, variable rate application, and curve control. The system enables crop producers to perform both spot spraying and uniform dosing across the boom – regardless of speed, terrain, or crop type. The variable frequency control of the nozzle opening significantly expands the working range for the same nozzle type while ensuring high precision and longer service life.

AmaXact builds on the well-known PWM technology but significantly expands its functionality. While PWM controls liquid flow through pulsing nozzle openings, PWFM regulates both frequency and pressure. This allows the sprayer to operate with greater flexibility in driving speed while reducing wear, as the nozzle does not constantly operate under maximum pressure. The result is more efficient operation and less need for nozzle replacement.

The Agromek jury highlights that AmaXact broadens the application of precision spraying and significantly improves durability:

- AmaXact is an extension of PWM technology, where spray liquid is regulated by both frequency and pressure. This provides a wider window for driving speed and minimizes nozzle wear, the judges state, awarding the innovation two stars.

With AmaXact, crop producers gain a solution that enables precise and flexible spraying with the same nozzle – from spot treatment to variable rate application based on field needs. The system is fully compatible with Amazone’s boom technology and supports modern, data-driven farming practices.
