North-Tec Maschinenbau launches Ding.X Traceability – complete digital solution for biogas plants

North-Tec Maschinenbau GmbH presents Ding.X Traceability – an advanced software solution that unites all key processes in modern biogas plants into one integrated digital system. The solution helps operators efficiently, safely, and legally comply with the requirements of the EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED II/III) and represents a significant step toward fully integrated digital control and traceability in the biogas sector.
With Ding.X Traceability, all administrative and logistical processes of the plant can be managed centrally – from registering biomass and raw material origins to reporting to certification bodies. The intuitive user interface combined with automated processes saves time and reduces the risk of errors. The system also includes CRM, inventory, transport, recipe, and LIMS modules, together forming a fully integrated solution for managing, documenting, and optimizing biogas production.
The Agromek jury awards the innovation one star and comments:
- Ding.X Traceability is an advanced development of the control system for biogas plants and can now be integrated with a LIMS module for the registration and management of all laboratory results, with direct links to raw materials and suppliers. The inventory management module is integrated with the plant’s control system and can, among other things, automatically open the correct gates for proper biomass unloading. Integration with other systems at the biogas plant reduces the risk of errors related to the registration and reading of biomass.
Ding.X Traceability stands out from other solutions on the market by consolidating all core functions into one system. Biogas plants now gain access to full traceability – from biomass reception to production and CO₂ reporting – enabling real-time documentation of origin, efficiency, and environmental impact. The digital twin of the plant also allows continuous monitoring, analysis, and optimization of processes.
North-Tec has its roots in planning and building biogas plants but has gradually expanded its expertise to include the development of digital control tools. When the company could not find a satisfactory software solution on the market, it developed the Ding.X system itself. This new version with the Traceability module completes the digital product portfolio and sets new standards for compliance, efficiency, and sustainability in the biogas industry.
