The rotary lobe pump for efficient liquid manure handling

Fibrous liquid manure can place considerable strain on a pump. When fibres accumulate inside the pump chamber, they can increase the load, energy consumption and wear. This reduces capacity and increases the risk of downtime when the liquid manure needs to be moved.

The FX series rotary lobe pump has been developed specifically for agricultural requirements. The robust, self-priming liquid manure pump handles fibrous media and foreign matter and delivers a capacity of up to 4,500 litres per minute at pressures of up to 8 bar.

Consistent capacity with fibrous liquid manure

The rotating separation plate moves with the pump elements and prevents fibres from accumulating between them. This helps to maintain pump performance while reducing unnecessary diesel or electricity consumption.

Different pump elements and materials allow the pump to be adapted to the individual task. This makes it possible to select a solution that matches the composition of the liquid manure, the required capacity and the operating conditions.

Less routine maintenance

The integrated oil circulation system continuously lubricates the seals. This removes the need for manual lubrication and eliminates a recurring maintenance task.

The mechanical block ring seal is designed to withstand fibres in the liquid manure and contributes to longer operating periods. Axial wear plates protect the entire pump chamber and can reduce both servicing requirements and downtime.

When servicing is required, the pump design provides quick access to the pump chamber and the main wear parts.

For stationary or mobile use

The FX series rotary lobe pump can be used as a stationary installation or as a mobile liquid manure pump mounted on a three-point frame. The pump can be driven via the tractor’s power take-off and used flexibly for a wide range of pumping tasks by both farmers and agricultural contractors.
