Pig barn with practical advantages
Agrifarm's barn concept is built up to 62 m wide and can therefore be wider than traditional barns. This typically results in a more square and compact building, a smaller building site, and a barn layout with a good overview of the pigs.

Hybrid ventilation = less energy consumption and better barn climate
The slaughterhouse is equipped with hybrid ventilation. Hybrid ventilation combines natural ventilation with a floor extractor, and significantly reduces energy consumption for ventilation.

Lots of fresh air in the barn
The barn is equipped with a loft and therefore has a large air volume with many m3 of air available for the pigs. The large air volume contributes to the good barn climate in both summer and winter, without drafts on the pigs.

Less dust, odor and ammonia
The floor extraction effectively removes dust, odor and ammonia from the barn, and creates an effective air exchange in the pens, which is especially important on hot summer days to give the pigs a cool and comfortable climate, without pigging out in the pen.
