Leica Geosystems has launched the CS50 field controller and Captivate 2027 field software. They are made for surveyors who need to work faster and with more confidence in the field, including with large datasets and in challenging conditions.

The CS50 has a fast processor, a multitouch screen and a physical, backlit keyboard, and can be operated with one hand. Captivate 2027 adds three new features:

– AI-RTK for the Leica GS18, which tells reliable GNSS signals from disturbed ones and helps keep positioning accurate around obstacles.
– Visual stakeout, where stakeout points are overlaid on the camera image from the GS18 I, so you find them quickly.
– Shared projects, which give field and office the same structure for files and settings across Captivate, Leica Infinity and Hexagon GeoCloud.

The CS50 works with Captivate GNSS antennas and total stations, including the new TS20.
