A top-tuned machine fleet in West Jutland – machine control with camera and semi-automation

Nr. Nebel Entreprenørforretning has never shied away from new digital options for its machine fleet. The specialist in sewer separation, site development and nature restoration now has Leica machine control with a camera solution on a Liebherr 926 compact excavator. A Liebherr 914 with the same solution is on its way, and both machines have semi-automation.
The camera sits in front of the cab and films downwards. The image is linked to the survey coordinates and shown in Leica ConX, so the office can see everything in real time. Each measured point gets photo documentation, which strengthens the dialogue with the client and makes it easier to flag extra work.
The company has had machine control on all its excavators since 2017 and moved to the latest Leica generation in 2022. To get the full benefit, it has hired a 3D technician to prepare the models. The result is faster work, more precise quantities and an operator who is less tired at the end of the day.
Drop by and hear what this could look like in your fleet. (The full story is in Danish.)
