The MixXPump solid matter feeding system is a compact solution for the economical processing and feeding of easily handled biomass such as maize silage and similar feedstocks. The prepared biomass is conveyed to the digester as a pumpable suspension.

The flat and compact design requires only limited installation space. This makes the MixXPump solid matter feeding system suitable for both new biogas plants and retrofitting into existing feeding systems.

Its robust construction and low maintenance requirements support reliable feeding and make the system an economical solution when the biomass does not require extensive pretreatment.

HiCone® – adjust instead of replacing

A HiCone® progressive cavity pump is at the heart of the MixXPump solid matter feeding system. The pump features a conical rotor and stator combined with an integrated adjustment mechanism.

As the rotor and stator wear, the pump compression can be restored through precise readjustment. This maintains pump performance and delays the need to replace wear parts, contributing to a longer service life and lower expenditure on spare parts and maintenance.

A status indicator shows the current condition of the pump and makes maintenance easier to plan.

Fast servicing without dismantling pipework

When the rotor and stator eventually need to be replaced, the QuickService concept simplifies the work. The components can be swivelled out and replaced on site without dismantling the suction- or pressure-side pipework.

This reduces servicing time to just a few hours and helps to keep interruptions to the feeding process to a minimum.
