At Hanstholm Containertransport, 101 kWp solar panels have been installed on two roof surfaces. At the time the agreement was made, Hanstholm Containertransport aimed for a self-consumption rate of 73% of the electricity produced, and the system saves the company approximately 15 tons of CO2 annually. Going forward, 1 kWh costs 26 øre (0.26 DKK) for Hanstholm Containertransport.

In 2023, Hanstholm Containertransport made a decision to improve their environmental footprint. With a vision to contribute to a more sustainable future, they invested in a complete solar power system from ECNergy.

The 101 kWp rooftop solar power system is tailored to the company's energy needs.

By investing in solar energy, Hanstholm Containertransport expects to achieve a significant reduction in their CO2 emissions. According to calculations by ECNergy, the new solar power system will provide a CO2 savings of approximately 447 tons over the next 30 years.

This investment is not only a milestone for Hanstholm Containertransport but also serves as an example for other companies in the industry about the importance of taking steps towards more sustainable operations.

With solar energy as an integral part of their energy strategy, Hanstholm Containertransport demonstrates their commitment to reducing their environmental impact and promoting a greener future for all.
