Olsson Parts is launching "My Machines" at olssonparts.com, becoming the first company in Scandinavia to offer a technical solution that brings all tractors and construction machinery together in one place. “A milestone for the sector,” says Christian Askland, IT Manager.
"My Machines" at www.olssonparts.com serves as a register of both your own vehicles and those of others, and is a long-awaited tool for anyone who owns or services one or more machines, such as workshops, machine stations, individual farmers or machine owners.
“As far as we know, we are the only ones in the industry to offer this solution. The function has been developed alongside our customers to make their day-to-day logistics easier. "My Machines" is already being used by several hundred customers. The reactions have been very positive,” says Christian Askland, IT Manager at Olsson Parts.
How it works
Register the machine owner and vehicle, year of manufacture, machine type, model and anything else that might be useful to know about the vehicle in question. You can also upload images directly via your mobile phone.
Register as many machines and machine owners as you like.
When placing an order, you link – label – each order row to a specific vehicle or customer.
The label can be seen on both the delivery note and the invoice, which makes accounting or re-invoicing easier.
The label makes it easy to purchase the same part again via the order history, which is useful when ordering annual services, for example.
“There are more than 5,000 different machine models to choose from when registering, but you can also create your own machine types, makes and models. If you have found suitable parts for your 4-wheeler, for example, you can add it as a separate vehicle in "My Machines" and link those parts that you already know are suitable. "My Machines" becomes what you make it,” says Christian Askland.
