GreenGuard Automation ApS is a Danish agritech company based in Aarhus. We develop laser technology that removes weeds inside the crop row – without chemicals and without hand weeding.
Weeds close to the crop are one of the most costly challenges in vegetable and Christmas tree production. Hand weeding is hard work and difficult to staff, and fewer herbicides remain approved. Our answer is Ecoray ONE: a laser module that mounts on the back of the tractor the grower already owns. On-board cameras and software find the weeds between the crop plants, and a laser hits each one precisely at its growing point while the tractor keeps moving.
We believe precision technology should pay off for ordinary farms – not just the largest ones. That is why we build modular: you only pay for the working width you need, and you use your own tractor instead of an expensive dedicated machine.
GreenGuard is run by a team of engineers with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, robotics and computer vision. Ecoray ONE has been field-tested in the 2026 season and launches at Agromek 2026.
