arrow_backTo the overviewResillox GM is a feed product from Bluejais for use in pig production, with a focus on the intestinal environment and digestion.
The product combines medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA), including lauric acid, with glycerol monolaurate (GML 90) and components with quorum-quenching properties. This combination supports a balanced intestinal microbiota and helps limit the activity of undesirable bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract.
Quorum quenching affects communication between bacteria and may thereby limit their ability to activate harmful traits, including toxin production and biofilm formation. Lauric acid and GML complement this action with antimicrobial properties, particularly against Gram-positive bacteria.
Resillox GM is mixed into feed and can be incorporated into existing feeding programmes for sows, piglets and finishing pigs. The recommended inclusion rate is 0.5–2 kg per tonne of feed, adjusted to the animal group and the herd’s needs in accordance with the product’s instructions for use.
