GreenTec shows the Tiger Rotary Mower at Agromek

Do you need to clear stubble fields, fallow land or cover crops faster and with fewer stops along the way? That is exactly what GreenTec's new Tiger rotary mower is built for. The mower comes in two sizes, Tiger 510 and Tiger 725, with working widths of 5.10 and 7.25 metres respectively, so both the smaller farm and the large contractor can find a model that matches the task.
What sets Tiger apart from most other rotary mowers on the market is the mounting. Instead of the traditional three-point linkage, Tiger connects directly to the tractor's lift arms. In practice, this means a significantly smaller turning radius, and the cutting height can be adjusted without leaving the tractor seat, both front and rear. At the same time, the system reduces the risk of damage to the PTO shaft, which is typically where time and money are lost through ordinary wear.
Behind the wheel, you can drive at up to 15-17 km/h, and in under a minute the machine switches from working to transport position using the tractor's own hydraulics. This makes Tiger just as well suited to the long road transport between fields as to the mowing itself.
The blade system, GreenFlex, is designed to adapt to the task rather than the other way around. Each rotor can be fitted with up to six blades of different types, so you choose whether to mulch finely for cover crops or cut more coarsely on fallow land.
The series is designed by British machinery engineer Martin Lole, founder of Spearhead, who has more than 35 years of experience with rotary mowers, which explains the technical detail of the product.
