GreenFarm delivers decentralised farm biogas plants that convert slurry from your farm into green electricity and heat – right where the energy is needed.

It is a simple and well-proven solution, designed for the Nordic climate, that makes efficient use of slurry without noise, odour or transport. You get your own stable production of electricity and heat, with the opportunity to become more energy self-sufficient. This can mean lower energy costs, less dependence on the grid and a demonstrably lower carbon footprint.

GreenFarm is a Danish company specialising in decentralised farm biogas plants. Since 2022, we have developed and built scalable solutions for agriculture that can process between 3,000 and 25,000 m³ of slurry per year. Today, 16 GreenFarm plants are in operation across Denmark, Norway and Lithuania, with more on the way.

Our solutions are developed with the everyday needs of farmers in mind – focusing on simple operation, efficient energy utilisation and local production of green energy.

Our concept reduces greenhouse gases from agriculture by utilizing waste products from agricultural production and converting them locally on the farm. This enables each farm to become partially self-sufficient with energy.

The biogas process leaves a by-product, which is also useful in agriculture – a fertilizer that can be used for crop cultivation.
