The new Case IH Optum 440 combines 435 hp of permanent engine power without boost with a long wheelbase and compact dimensions. Power is delivered by the new 8.7-litre FPT Cursor 9 engine, while an upgraded braking system matches the tractor’s high performance. Independent front suspension allows each wheel to react individually to terrain conditions, and the integrated central tyre inflation system, operated via the Pro 1200 terminal, makes switching between road and field settings straightforward. Integrated precision farming technology and FieldOps™ bring together machine and field data in a single platform.

Expert description:
The Case IH Optum 440 combines 435 hp of continuously available power with a base weight of 12,450 kg and a wheelbase of 3,190 mm. The compact platform can be ballasted individually according to the task. A new independent front axle with active roll and pitch control, together with integrated oil-cooled front brakes, provides stability and safety at high transport speeds and when hauling heavy trailers. Combined with the CVXDrive transmission and central tyre inflation system, the tractor can be adapted seamlessly from transport work to heavy draft applications.
