The new-generation row unit, Tempo II, makes it possible to adjust seeding depth and closing wheel pressure directly from the cab. This improves precision, as adjustments can be made while driving across the field and adapted to current soil conditions. At the same time, it is now possible to adjust both seeding depth and plant population using application maps at individual row level.

Expert description:
The electronic adjustment of seeding depth and closing wheel pressure allows settings to be modified while operating in the field and adapted to changing soil conditions. By using an application map, seeding depth can be adjusted according to a predefined prescription. In addition, a separate application map can vary seed rates at individual row level, enabling each row unit to be adjusted independently according to the desired seeding rate.
