LAIA gives farmers an entirely new way to use their farm data. Look up a specific cow, identify cows due to calve next week, or view trends in milk fat percentage. Whereas herd management systems typically provide fixed reports, LAIA generates relevant answers in the form of lookups, lists, tables or graphs based directly on the farmer’s current needs. All responses are generated solely from the data that the user is authorised to access within DMS.

Expert description:
Previously, dairy farmers could only choose from predefined reports and lists in DMS and needed to know where and how to extract this information. With LAIA, users can simply ask DMS for information such as the status of a particular cow, which cows are due to calve in the coming week, the development of a specific key performance indicator, or similar queries, and receive the answer in a clear and accessible format. LAIA simplifies daily workflows by making herd data faster and easier to access.
