The session will go through the Danish model from planning, permitting, tendering to construction and commissioning. The first step can be a group of farmers who want to explore the possibility of establishing a biogas plant, it can be investors, or both.

There is a long list of tasks to be solved, and it requires patience from the entrepreneurs, but in the end it pays to be thorough.

In Denmark it takes 3½ - 5 year from planning to commissioning centralized biogas plants sometimes more. Farm scale biogas plants can make it faster.
