Besko A/S, Tyre Pressure Regulation System

Product description:
The second generation CTIS solved some problems of the first generation by adding a signal line to control the main valve on the rim. The main line is standard without pressure when not inflating or deflating thus reducing risks, but dirty air still returns to the control valves which still work per axle. The added airline complexity is causing increased costs for the components. QTIS has designed the third generation CTIS : One airline only, and the control is done by a patented three pressure.
Expert description:
QTIS’s third-generation CTIS uses a single Ø16 mm supply line and an active rim valve. Three pressure levels transmitted through the same rotary union control inflation, deflation and standby mode, during which the hose remains depressurised. Return air is filtered within the rim valve and discharged directly at the wheel, preventing dirt from returning to the valve block. The solution reduces pipework complexity while protecting the control components.
