Agrometer Field and Hose Planner is a tablet-based app designed to optimise the planning of slurry application using Agrometer’s hose-based applicators. The tool combines the applicator’s working radius and implement width with the field’s size, shape and tramline direction, and calculates the number of connection points required, their optimum locations, and the required length of supply hose. Buffer tanks and booster pumps can be included in the layout. The app can be used with all current and previous applicator models.

Expert description: 
An app for planning both the routing of supply hoses and the operating pattern of the slurry applicator. During the planning process, the point or points where the supply hose and the applicator’s hose reel are to be connected are identified. Prior to slurry application with Agrometer’s self-propelled slurry applicator, the routing of the supply hose from the slurry store to the field must be planned. In addition, the location of the connection points between the supply hose and the machine’s hose reel must be determined in order to optimise the area that can be supplied with slurry from each individual connection point. These tasks and much more can be carried out in the “Field & Hose Planner” app. Once logged into the system, users can create maps for individual jobs, showing both supply hoses and connection points, while also viewing the reach of the machine’s hose within the field to be fertilised. The operating crew can subsequently log into the same map while in the field and use it to carry out the planned operation.
