Agrisys A/S, FREEDA Walk-up

Product description:
FREEDA Walk Up ESF provides individual RFID-based feeding of gilts in a compact, open solution. Feed is dispensed in small portions according to each animal’s feeding curve and ration. The system can handle one or two feed types and create a seamless transition between them, ensuring that feeding follows the animal’s development and desired body condition prior to first insemination. A new feature is that the Walk Up can later be upgraded with a self-locking stall and converted into a FREEDA Walk In ESF.

Expert description:
FREEDA Walk Up stands out through its ability to dispense two feed blends with a gradual, stepless transition, contributing to improved gilt management. Individual feeding curves allow for more uniform weight gain and body condition development throughout the rearing period, thereby supporting reproductive performance and longevity in the sow herd. The system can also be upgraded with a self-locking stall and transformed into a complete ESF station.
