Valtra Talking Tractor makes machine data accessible through artificial intelligence

New AI assistant brings together documentation, telemetry and maintenance data and is awarded a three-star Danish News at Agromek Stars.

Valtec presents Valtra Talking Tractor, an AI-powered digital assistant that brings together machine documentation, telemetry data, maintenance information and operational insights in a single conversational solution. The operator can ask questions by voice or text and receive machine-specific guidance, troubleshooting support, maintenance recommendations and real-time operational analyses.
Instead of having to search through multiple manuals, dashboards and support channels, Talking Tractor combines Valtra Connect data, machine documentation and support resources within a single interface. The system uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to interpret user questions and retrieve relevant information from sources including manuals, service records and connected telemetry systems. Responses can be delivered as text, speech, images and step-by-step instructions.
The solution has been developed to provide faster access to machine-specific information and support, reduce downtime through guided troubleshooting and maintenance, and make advanced machine data easier to use in day-to-day operations. It can also simplify the training of new or less experienced operators, as they can receive assistance directly through natural language interaction.
Agromek’s judging panel has awarded Valtra Talking Tractor three stars and particularly highlighted its ability to make complex machine data directly accessible and actionable for operators:
“Valtra Talking Tractor combines Valtra Connect data, machine documentation, maintenance information and operational insights in a single conversational AI assistant. Operators receive machine-specific guidance, troubleshooting support and recommendations through voice or text interaction. The solution makes complex data directly usable and helps new or less experienced operators become independent more quickly and use the machine’s functions correctly.”
The solution was tested in Denmark during autumn 2026, and the first Danish customers are expected to gain access in spring 2027.
