SKIOLD presents the WE250, a twin-weigher for feed production systems that enables ingredients to be weighed and discharged simultaneously. While one weigher is being emptied, the next weighing process can begin, reducing the waiting time between batches.
The WE250 has a capacity of 1,500 kg per weighing cycle and a specified discharge time of 10 seconds. An integrated chain conveyor contributes to throughput capacity and makes it possible to utilise conveying equipment and other machinery in the plant more continuously.
The solution also makes it possible to weigh and grind individual ingredients within a feed formulation without restricting the overall throughput of the plant. According to SKIOLD, this provides greater flexibility in feed production while maintaining a compact design.
Agromek’s judging panel has awarded the SKIOLD WE250 two stars:
