ProCleaner X150 cleans both sides of the livestock house passage

Washpower’s autonomous cleaning robot combines dual washing arms with obstacle detection and is recognised as a two-star Agromek innovation.

Washpower A/S introduces ProCleaner X150, an autonomous cleaning robot for pig houses equipped with two independently controlled washing arms. The robot is designed to clean both sides of the central passage simultaneously and continue operating while passing obstacles.
According to the product specifications, the robot uses sensors to detect obstacles and automatically adjusts the position of its washing arms without interrupting the cleaning process. Its compact design also makes it suitable for existing and complex livestock facilities, where equipment and other obstacles may limit the available space.
The technical solution is based on a patent-pending dual-arm architecture. Whereas autonomous cleaning robots typically operate with a single arm or follow a sequential cleaning principle, ProCleaner X150 employs two arms that can reach either side of the passage while the robot continues moving forward.
The Agromek judging panel has awarded ProCleaner X150 two stars. In its final assessment, the panel particularly highlighted the dual washing arms, which can detect and avoid obstacles without interrupting cleaning operations, as well as the increased capacity and level of automation.
“The robot builds on existing technology within autonomous livestock house cleaning but introduces a solution with dual washing arms capable of detecting and avoiding obstacles without interrupting the cleaning process. This provides a significant improvement in both capacity and flexibility compared with previous solutions,” the judging panel stated.
The judging panel also noted that the higher degree of automation is expected to reduce the need for manual cleaning and thereby decrease the time spent on a physically demanding task.
