KRONE increases capacity with a 12.5-metre mower conditioner

New mounted mower conditioner with crimper, merger belts and compact Fold solution awarded a three-star Danish News at Agromek Stars.
Brøns Group will present the KRONE EasyCut B 1250 CV Fold Collect at Agromek 2026, a new tractor-mounted mower conditioner with a working width of up to 12.50 metres. The machine combines high capacity with a crimper, crop merger belts and a compact transport solution.
In combination with a front mower conditioner, the EasyCut B 1250 CV Fold Collect operates across a working width of 11.40 to 12.50 metres. The machine is equipped with KRONE’s high-capacity CV crimper featuring V-shaped hardened steel tines, as well as 910 mm-wide merger belts that allow the cut crop to be merged in the same pass.
A key feature of the design is the patented Fold mechanism. For transport, the outer cutterbar sections fold backwards, enabling the large working width to be combined with compact transport dimensions. The machine is mounted directly on the tractor’s linkage, which, according to the manufacturer, contributes to excellent manoeuvrability during headland turns and road transport.
The EasyCut B 1250 CV Fold Collect is operated via ISOBUS and Load-Sensing hydraulics and is also CTF-ready for 12-metre controlled traffic farming systems.
Agromek’s judging panel has awarded the innovation three stars and classified it as a Danish News. In its assessment, the panel particularly highlighted the combination of the large working width, the mounted design and the compact Fold solution:
“The KRONE EasyCut B 1250 CV Fold Collect is the first mounted mower conditioner combination with crimper and swath merging capability to achieve a working width of more than 12 metres. The judging panel awards three stars for the Fold design, in which the gearbox’s movable mounting provides the necessary clearance when the machine is folded. This keeps transport height below 4 metres without compromising capacity or crop handling.”
