FarmNavigator ISOBOOST makes row guidance brand-independent

A universal ISOBUS controller uses the tractor’s GPS system to control a side-shift frame and is recognised as a two-star Agromek innovation.

SteerGuide ApS presents FarmNavigator ISOBOOST, a universal ISOBUS controller for automatic control of side-shift frames. The system uses GPS data from the tractor’s existing guidance system and converts it into hydraulic control signals, enabling the implement to be continuously corrected in relation to the driving line.
ISOBOOST receives XTE data (Cross Track Error) via NMEA 2000 and controls a proportional hydraulic valve on the side-shift frame. According to the product description, the system can achieve an accuracy of less than two centimetres and can be used in crops such as maize, potatoes, grass seed and other row crops.
A key feature of the solution is that it has been developed to operate across different GPS and tractor platforms. This allows existing GPS technology to be used for precise implement guidance without being tied to a specific manufacturer or proprietary system.
The Agromek judging panel has awarded ISOBOOST two stars. In its final assessment, the panel highlights in particular that by using ISOBUS and NMEA 2000, ISOBOOST can be integrated with existing GPS and tractor systems across different brands. This makes it possible to use existing GPS technology for precise automatic control of the side-shift frame.
The expert assessment also highlights that the price for the solution is expected to be significantly lower than comparable solutions currently available on the market. The product is presented as a prototype and will be showcased at Agromek 2026.
