Product description:

Precision agriculture requires the exchange of enormous amounts of data between equipment. Often, data transfer is done manually with USB sticks and similar methods. However, this no longer needs to be the case. With the newly launched integration between John Deere Operations Center (JDOC) and Atfarm, which is Yara's tool for precision fertilization, farmers can now transfer their fields from JDOC to Atfarm with just one click. In Atfarm, farmers can create their allocation maps and then make them available in JDOC with another click. After the spreading task is completed, the as-applied files are stored in JDOC—all consolidated in one place.

Expert description:

It is now possible to create, export, and send allocation files from AtFarm directly to the machine in the field through MyJohnDeere. In a completely new feature, AtFarm can also export biomass measurements and forecasts for nitrogen (N) needs in a given field. This is particularly interesting as biomass measurements in individual fields can be compared with data collected in previous harvest years via the combine harvester or tractor. This provides farmers with even more data and knowledge for the creation of effective allocation maps.
