Linka Energy's shredder system, type 123 (TWIN) is a proven and efficient straw shredder, developed since the 1970s based on extensive biomass experience. The TWIN technology has been refined over the years and is now recognized as one of the best in the world.
With the lowest power consumption on the market, the LINKA TWIN 123 is ideal for energy-conscious district heating plants, industry, and the biogas sector. It handles various types of straw, including grass seed, rapeseed, wheat, rye, and oats. The system can be combined with an automatic bale feeding system and equipped with LINKA's bale string remover, making it a fully automated straw handling system.
The shredder efficiently processes fuels with up to 30% moisture and handles both big bales (Heston) and midi big bales (Krone). It is used in industry, large farms, institutions, heating plants, as well as in biogas and pyrolysis plants, including as part of our StB lines for biogas production.
