I-GRIND 2.0 HD
arrow_backTo the overviewThe I-GRIND has many applications, as its robust construction and unique working principle enable it to grind and process virtually any form of biomass - whether it's processing straw for bedding, feed, or waste products for biogas plants is not crucial, as long as the sieves and the vessel's rotation speed are adjusted accordingly.
BIOGAS
The physical properties for mechanical handling are improved by grinding the biomass, whether it's straw, deep litter, corn, beets, green mass, or other materials. At the same time, the value of several materials in the gasification process is enhanced through crushing. The I-GRIND has already proven that it can quickly convert wet and unusable big bales into valuable biomass.
CO-ENSILING
By crushing/mixing beets/potatoes/corn/straw, etc., the nutritional value of different roughage crops can be enhanced, and the need for loading numerous different feed ingredients into the total mixed ration (TMR) mixer can be reduced.
STRAW FEED
Crushed straw/hay cannot be sorted out by animals and therefore is included in uniform amounts in all feed rations. When the I-GRIND has prepared the straw feed, it is quick to mix compact feed in the TMR mixer, regardless of mix type and brand.
BEDDING
Straw is quickly crushed into quality bedding with optimal properties for subsequent slurry handling. The I-GRIND's working principle, where individual straws are not only cut lengthwise but also receive violent blows on the sides in the hammer mill, ensures maximum absorbency of the bedding and minimizes straw consumption.
CRUSHING OF FEED INGREDIENTS
Grain/corn/peas/horse beans/beet pellets/rapeseed cakes, etc. can be quickly crushed into a uniform mass. By crushing the feed ingredients, the animals' ability to sort mixed feed is minimized, and the absorption/digestion of individual feed ingredients is enhanced.
EARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Production of straw bedding yesterday, processing of feed items today, crushing beets for co-ensiling with corn tomorrow, and production of homogeneous semi-finished products for biogas the day after. The I-GRIND has an incredible number of applications and therefore achieves many operating hours throughout the year. This results in an absolutely affordable hourly rate for customers and good earning opportunities for machine stations and contractors.
