On the Maskinleverandørerne’s trade stand in Hall C at Agromek, there will be a live workshop presentation by apprentices for the first time in Denmark
In Hall C at Agromek, visitors can study the Readers’ Tractor 2.0 and the entire trade stand for the contractor, park, road and landscape sectors.
Hall C at Agromek is dedicated to the contractor, park, road and landscape trade. Exhibition visitors can meet leading companies within these sectors and study the latest innovations within machinery, knowhow and technology.
Maskinleverandørerne has a large trade stand in Hall C.
Klaus Nissen, Trade Director, Maskinleverandørerne states that there will be an entirely new activity this year:
“We will have a live workshop with apprentices from the various sectors in the contractor, park, road and landscape trade so that visitors can study them at first hand. There will be four work stations with demo-shows of approximately 15 minutes, five times daily.”
Agromek will be the first exhibition in Denmark to present this live workshop concept
Director Claus Hermansen, Agromek states: This Maskinleverandørerne’s live workshop is a great idea which we welcome at Agromek. We hope that many of the visitors to the Exhibition will take the time to attend the stand and to study the efforts of the apprentices.”
School pupils invited to Agromek
Maskinleverandørerne has invited pupils from the 7th to 10th classes to come and study the live workshop demo-shows in the hope that they will become interested in the contractor, park, road and landscape trade sectors.
Klaus Nissen continued: “We currently experience negative recruitment in the various trade sectors. We wish to reverse this situation and our philosophy is to contact the young people as early as possible to gain their interest.”
Each day throughout the Exhibition, arrangements have been made to collect the school pupils in buses from their schools so that they can study the live workshop demo-shows and have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the various trade sectors. Afterwards, the pupils will have a conducted tour of the Exhibition and visit the stands of selected companies before they are transported back to their schools.
Klaus Nissen continued: “It will be extremely interesting to test this concept. We look forward to gaining the attention of the young people and hope that we can sow the seeds of interest and provide them with a positive view of the various sectors.”
In addition to the live workshop, Exhibition visitors will be able to study the Readers’ Tractor 2.0 on the stand.
Klaus Nissen stated: “The Readers’ tractor is a veteran tractor that lives a life of its own in the TractorTech magazine. Readers can come with suggestions as to what can be done with this tractor and follow its development in the magazine. We will display the tractor at Agromek and some work will be done on it during the live workshop.”
Agromek is the leading combined agricultural exhibition in Northern-Europe and will be held during the period 27th to 30th November (incl.) in the MCH Exhibition Centre, Herning, Denmark.
