Climate technology to reduce CO2 emissions from storage tanks. JH Forsuring CH4 (low-dose acidification) reduces CO2 by up to 70%. The climate technology is provided as a plug-and-play solution for both existing and new livestock production systems. This methane-reducing technology for storage tanks ensures that the manure remains stable during storage. Sulfuric acid is added through a closed system to the manure while it is being pumped to the storage tank. The system is fully automated and monitors storage levels and the manure pump, with documentation logged for records.

The new system for slurry acidification introduces acid via a closed system while the slurry is pumped to the storage tank. This system helps reduce the evaporation of ammonia and methane from the slurry tank because the added acid ensures that the slurry remains stable during storage. 

Acidification is achieved using sulfuric acid, with 2-4 kg added per cubic meter of slurry as it is pumped from the pre-tank to the storage tank. 

The system can be installed on both new and existing setups for cattle and pig operations.
