The EFECTA CE wide seed drill has a working width of 12 metres. In its category, it is an extremely versatile seed drill, equipped with double-chamber pressurised hopper with a capacity of 6,000 litres. It can be equipped with four types of front equipment installed in front of the drill coulters. The large working width in combination with a high working speed guarantees achieving high daily outputs.
BEDNAR, as one of the first manufacturers in the world, developed a crawler undercarriage for a seed drill to prevent soil compaction. The FLOATRAX undercarriage was designed for the EFECTA CE seed drill; it has brakes and thus can be driven on roads in the EU.
The BEDNAR FLOATRAX undercarriage offers a higher yield potential.
The FLOATRAX is 2,500 mm long and 610 mm wide. The total contact surface of the track is 2.18 m2. The maximum pressure on soil is only 42.75 kPa. As the pressure on soil does not exceed 70 kPa, during which negative and irreversible soil hardening occurs, the FLOATRAX caterpillar undercarriage is delicate to soil.
