Agro-Bag A/S presents a three star New in Europe exhibit at Agromek 2022 which greatly improves safety when opening big bags
This three star, New in Europe platform is installed on a fertilizer spreader or field truck. The big bag is positioned on the platform whereafter the top frame moves downwards and four blades appear and open the big bag at the base.
There are no immediately visible blades on this new semi-automatic implement – Agro Big Bag. This can empty big bags easily and safely.
Safety has received maximum priority on this new platform on which big bags can be emptied without manual labour. The entire operation is effectuated from the operator cabin.
Agro-Bag has been classified as a three star New in Europe exhibit at Agromek 2022. It is developed and presented by the Danish company Agro-Bag A/S.
Agro-Bag is a platform which, with pipes and fittings, can be installed on any type of spreader or field truck. When the big bag is positioned on the platform, four coil springs are activated so that the top frame moves downwards and four blades appear which cut open the base of the big bag.
From the tractor cabin, the tractor operator can monitor how several bags can be emptied quickly and efficiently.
The Agromek New Product Committee has stated the following: “Agro-Bag facilitates quick and safe emptying of big bags directly from the tractor cabin. This greatly reduces hard labour and the risk of health problems arising from, for example, inhaling of fertilizer dust when filling the fertilizer spreader.”
