New technology that provides farmers with better decision-making tools through more accurate rain forecasts has been recognized as a two-star innovation at Agromek.
Danish Agro presents a groundbreaking new solution for rain forecasting. By combining AI technology with weather data, Cordulus Farm has developed a predictive model that forecasts rain with an accuracy 52% higher than traditional methods. This technology enables farmers to make more informed decisions about their fieldwork, based on precise and up-to-date weather information.
- Rain forecasts are often inaccurate, but with AI, Cordulus Farm can now predict weather more accurately than ever before. This model can detect sudden weather changes and deliver precise forecasts every 10 minutes, providing farmers with a unique tool to optimize their operations, explains the producer.
This innovation has received two stars from the Agromek judges' panel, recognizing its importance for agriculture. With this model, trained on 8.2 million examples of rain from across Europe, farmers can predict rain with high precision up to eight hours in advance. The system combines U-Net and Vision Transformer technologies, offering unprecedented detail in weather forecasts.
