Increased possibility for adjustment with CMN Maskintec’s new C-tine which is approved as a Two Star New exhibit at Agromek
The angle of the hoe’s tine can, with this new C-tine from CMN Maskintec, be adjusted quickly and easily by moving a split.
It will now be easier to change the positioning of hoe tines. CMN Maskintec A/S has developed a new C-tine on which the cutting angle can be quickly altered during the course of fieldwork. There is a single split on each tine.
This new C-tine has been approved as a Two Star exhibit at Agromek 2022.
The easy adjustment of the C-tine enables quick adjustment with regard to the size of the crop. With small plants, the tine can be adjusted to a horizontal position so that it merely undercuts the weeds. During later hoeing the C-tine can take advantage of the coverage effect and can be adjusted at a more aggressive angle so that it places the soil over the weeds.
The C-tine is spring-loaded with an adjustable extension spring which means that the tine has more or less vibration in the soil according to requirements, whilst retaining the possibility of adjustment via the spring effect.
The C-tine is also a rigid tine which ensures a more stable control between the rows of crops. It thus prevents damage to the crops even if there is collision with a stone or if the soil is hard and compact.
