On and off coupling of slurry precipitators from the tractor seat

At Agromek, Siwi Maskiner ApS presents a new coupling system which greatly reduces operating time
If the tractor operator has not backed precisely to the slurry precipitator, the hitch can be offset from the tractor cabin to ensure correct coupling.
The Siwi Combi Hitch is a fully automatic solution that can on and off hitch slurry precipitators out in the field when the slurry truck is to move after new loads. With this coupling, the hydraulic functions are still controlled via the tractor hydraulics.
All functions do not require manpower between the precipitator and slurry truck. The tractor operator uncouples hydraulic hoses, pneumatic hoses, traffic lights and the slurry valve from the tractor cabin.
Siwi Slurry Hitch has been approved and classified as a Two Star New Product exhibit at Agromek 2022 and is presented by Siwi Maskiner ApS.
The Agromek Evaluation Committee points out that this New Product represents important labour savings due to the fact that on and off coupling is carried out from the tractor cabin.
To simplify coupling, the hitch on the slurry truck can be offset if the operator has not backed correctly. Via a camera, the operator can see how much offset is required. The coupling is monitored by sensors and the operator receives a green lamp on the control panel which verifies correct coupling.
