New module provides surveillance regarding irrigation and irrigation machines
Seges Innovation presents Optimum Irrigation as a Two Star exhibit At Agromek
“Optimum Irrigation” is a new module which provides monitoring of both the positions of the irrigation machines and the water requirements of the individual fields.
Now there is assistance to farmers with many irrigation machines. It is a complicated logistic task to effectuate moving these machines around in the fields and to ensure optimum irrigation throughout the seasons.
This new aid – the Optimum Irrigation module – which can contribute to the preparation of water economy for the individual field and also to supply surveillance charts of both the fields and the actual irrigation tracks in the individual field. The farmer thus has full monitoring of where the actual machines are located and where and when these machines are to be moved.
“ Optimum Irrigation” has been approved as a Two Star exhibit at Agromek 2022 and is presented by Seges Innovation P/S
This new module automatically registers rainfall plus applied and evaporated water volumes. Data for rainfall and evaporated water is automatically available from DMI’s website. On the basis of registration of lack of rainfall, the system provides graphic information as to which fields and irrigation tracks have the greatest immediate requirement for irrigation.
The new system is a tab sheet in Seges “Farmtracking Premium”. It has integrated fleet control and provides information regarding the farm’s various pump systems and locations plus the positions of the individual irrigation machines via a chart in Google Maps.
The system is based on keying and registration via an App for mobile telephones and can, therefore, be effectuated immediately following the moving of each irrigation machine.
