New two-star four-wheel steering offers the smallest turning radius on the market and improved flexibility

Moni Worldwide presents Deutz-Fahr ActiveSteer, an advanced four-wheel steering system that enables a significantly reduced turning radius on Deutz-Fahr 5 Series DF TTV models. This innovative system allows the rear axle to be steered in multiple modes, including crab steering (dogwalk), which is particularly beneficial for driving on delicate surfaces such as sports fields and golf courses.

Deutz-Fahr's new 5 Series with the ActiveSteer system offers the smallest turning radius in the market for specialized tractors. The four-wheel steering allows for crab steering, delayed steering when using trailers, and automatic functions like rear axle alignment when reversing and disengaging steering when raising and lowering the rear hitch. This ensures optimal maneuverability, even under the most demanding conditions, notes the Agromek judges' panel, awarding the innovation two stars.

ActiveSteer provides farmers and contractors with new flexibility, enabling them to use a powerful tractor for tasks that would typically require a smaller, more agile machine. Additionally, using crab steering allows for even weight distribution across all four wheels, minimizing the risk of damage to sensitive surfaces like sports or golf courses.

With ActiveSteer, Deutz-Fahr specialized tractors can now be employed for a wide range of tasks in the municipal and agricultural sectors, offering increased efficiency and reduced operational costs.
