Electric transmission on John Deere tractors is a Three Star New Product exhibit at Agromek.
Electric infinitely variable transmission is an innovation on tractors in Denmark. At Agromek, this New Product is exhibited as eAutopowr on the BR410 John Deere tractor.
This electric transmission has been approved and classified as a Three Star New in Denmark product at Agromek 2022 and is presented by Herborg Maskinforretning A/S.
The Agromek Evaluation Committee stated: “This is an entirely new construction principle for tractors. This concept also facilitates electric traction of implements of up to 100kW.”
On tractors with electric transmission, the hydraulic components are replaced by a generator and an electric motor. The manufacturer states that this provides greater efficiency and safe and precise speed control.
