A new electric Bobcat has been approved as a Three Star, New in Europe exhibit at Agromek
This new electric Bobcat does not have any hydraulic oil and obviates emissions and noise problems.
This first electric mini-loader entirely without hydraulic oil can be studied at Agromek 2022.
This mini-loader – the Bobcat T7X – has been approved and classified as a Three Star, New in Europe exhibit. It is presented by Stenderup A/S.
The Agromek Evaluation Committee has based its decision regarding the Three Star approval in that this is the first electric loader completely without hydraulic oil. The entire hydraulic system is replaced by electricity so that also the lift and tilt cylinders are replaced by electric cylinders. The only liquid applied on this mini-loader involves 4 litres of bio-positive cooler fluid.
The knee action steered mini-loader has a 62 kWh lithium-ion battery. According to the manufacturer, this can operate for four hours continuous operation or eight hours for interval operation.
Bobcat states that this mini-loader has a capacity of 1,374 kg and does not have any CO2 emission. The manufacturer also emphasizes that this mini-loader can be operated indoors or in major cities in which there are regulations for minimum use of fossil fuels. It is also entirely soundless and can, therefore, for example, be applicable in civic areas. Such areas often have restrictions as to when work can be carried out regarding noise pollution.
