Daltec A/S presents Daltec Weight Watch, an advanced solution for automatic weighing of animals directly in pens. With Daltec Weight Watch, farmers can precisely adjust feed changes based on the animals' actual growth, enhancing weight gain and reducing feed costs. The system uses deep learning and cameras to continuously measure the animals' weight, ensuring optimal feeding.
The Agromek judges' panel assesses that this system will enable savings in feed costs and improve animal growth while minimizing the need for manual monitoring of feed changes. Thus, the innovation is awarded as a three-star European innovation.
Daltec Weight Watch is an integrated part of the multi-phase system, allowing farmers to adjust feed changes without relying on static growth curves. The system ensures that animals receive the exact feed suitable for their current growth. Daltec Weight Watch employs cameras mounted on the ceiling above the pens to record animal weights and can be controlled via integration in Daltec's multi-phase system through a PC or mobile app.
