Better utilization of nitrogen from slurry

Automatic logging of data from slurry trucks is a Three Star, New in Europe exhibit from Seges Innovation
With automatic logging of the spreading of slurry volume and the times involved, it is much easier to calculate the field’s requirement for final commercial fertilizers.
During slurry spreading operations, this new software can automatically log information from the slurry trucks regarding the volume of slurry applied. This data is combined with weather reports from DMI (temperature, rainfall and wind) for the individual field, so that the factual nitrogen effect can be calculated.
This new software, which is integrated in CropManager, has been approved as a Three Star, New in Europe exhibit at Agromek 2022 and is presented by Seges Innovation P/S.
This new software can simplify the farmer’s registration work and improve the evaluation of the utilization of the nitrogen in slurry and thus identify the requirement for final fertilizing. This information can be applied to adjust the requirements for final application of commercial fertilizer.
In addition, an automatic transfer of laboratory analysis, via the App SmartSlurry, will automatically be calculated in the actual slurry effect.
Thus, the automatic data flow will minimize a considerable amount of the current uncertainty related to slurry application. This will be beneficial for the farmer’s economy as it will minimize the risk of excessive or too little fertilization with commercial fertilizers.
